Catherine was born on August 5, 1933 in Joplin, Missouri to Orville Snider and Madeline Snider. As a child, Catherine lived in Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Catherine and Wayne L. G. Reynolds were married in 1949 and remained so for 65 years until his death in 2014. They moved to Texas in 1955 where he went into business with his brothers. She was a stay-at-home mom to her children. After her youngest child was in high school, she turned to work away from home. She was employed by Panther City Office Supply and Reynolds Brothers Reproduction before retiring. In retirement, Catherine lived in Midland and Colorado City, TX.
Catherine was an avid crafter during her lifetime. She loved decorating sweatshirts and making items from bandanas. She made crocheted afghans, scarves, and framed last names for family members as well as counted cross stitch pictures and Christmas ornaments. In her younger days she used her sewing skills to make clothing for her growing children. After retirement, Catherine enjoyed traveling the country with her husband in their motor coach.
Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Jane Snider, and her mother Madeline Karch. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, one great-grandson, Ian William Boykin, and her sister, Helen Harrison. Catherine is survived by four children, Marsha (Bill) Boykin, Randy(Diana) Reynolds, Larry (Letha) Reynolds of Midland and Kenny (Connie) of Colorado City. She was grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Beverley Oehling, of Cypress, TX and her brother, Robert (Norma) Snider of Broken Arrow, OK.
The family would like to thank Jenn’s Loving Caregivers, especially Helen Esparza and Janie Caldwell, for their loving in-home care. They would also like to express appreciation to the staff at Legacy Ranch Memory Care for the care they provided for Catherine.

Services will be at the direction of Ellis Funeral Home in Midland, TX and officiated by Freddy Haltom. Burial will be next to her late husband at Resthaven North.
