Armando Fernandez 73, a hard worker and father to all, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, with his family by his side. He was born to Fernando and Susana Fernandez on November 18, 1947 in Chihuahua, Mexico. Armando graduated from the Instituto Technologico de Chihuahua with a degree in Industrial engineering and moved to Midland, Texas in 1979 with his family. When not working, he could often be found surrounded by his loved ones listening to music and discussing lyrics and current events with his favorite beverage in his hand. You often heard Armando saying, “You got to win! Tienes que gannar.” or “Work is the answer. Tienes que trabajar.” Armando ran a successful business and lived his life with no regrets. He was always willing to help a stranger, share his knowledge, and mentor others. He touched the lives of many people and will be fondly remembered. He is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his four sisters and one brother; Blanca Olson, Carmela Priestas, Susana Fernandez, Manzol Amaro, and Arturo Amaro; his three sons, Isaac, Israel, and Isaias Fernandez as well as his eleven grandchildren; Jacqueline, Jacob, Julian, Jonathan, Juliette, Joy, June, Emily, Aidan, Madelynn, and Trystan Fernandez. Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 6:00pm, at Ellis Funeral Home in Midland, Texas.
