Laura “Sissy” Angel, 67, of Middletown, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on November 3, 2024 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born March 16, 1957, the daughter of Albert and Velma (Tolson) Angel.
Sissy had a larger-than-life personality! She worked at Ruby’s Car Wash for over ten years, sharing her love for life with her customers. Sissy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She would often say that God didn’t give her children but it was okay because she was blessed with so many nieces and nephews. Sissy did her best to make sure everyone had a good time with her whether it was teaching them how to cross stitch, Electric Slide, the Twist or dancing to Monster Mash. She was the queen of giving everyone nicknames. Sissy enjoyed sewing, painting and watching the Reds with Ron. If Sissy was present, there was most certainly music and the color "purple" present. Her laughter was contagious and will be missed by her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Ronald Deuser; brothers, Doug Mapes, Steve Angel, Billy Angel, Bobby Angel; sister-in-law, Roxanne Angel; nephew, Joshua Neal Angel; and her beloved Pomeranian, Baby.
Sissy is survived by her loving brothers, Neal Angel, Kenny (Lisa) Angel, Donny Angel; nieces, Shannon, Roxy, Dee Dee, Teresa, Tabatha, Courtney, Joyce, Kaylee, Brittney; nephews, Dougie, Caleb, Jimmy, Matt, Mikey, Seth, Logan; and many other loving family members and friends.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
