Jack Ronald Wells

Jack Ronald Wells, age 65 of Miamisburg, OH, passed away Monday, September the 9th, 2019 at Sycamore Hospital in Miamisburg. Jack was born the son of Jack and Hannah Wells on November 2nd, 1953 in Mt. Sterling, KY.

Whether you knew him as Jack, JR, Ronnie, Doodles or Ron no one could miss his unmatched work ethic, humble heart, endless sarcasm, and his passion for everything University of Kentucky Basketball. He is preceded in death by his parents. Jack is survived by his wife Sherry Wells, his three sons, Jake (Missy) Wells, Brad and Tim Woolery; His grandchildren, Elicia, Jacob, and Jarrett Wells, Liam and Bella Woolery; and brother Dan (Derilyn) Wells. Jack was a beloved husband, father, papaw, and friend to all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm, Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, Middletown, with Duane Patrick officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10am-12pm. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Poast Town.

In lieu of flowers, the Wells family asks you to donate to the AIM at Melanoma Research Foundation(https://support.aimatmelanoma.org/give/215407/#!/donation/checkout) in honor of Jack’s own battle with Melanoma. The hope is to increase awareness, provide support, and allow for the advancement of treatments for those who have fought, will fight, and are still fighting.
