Steven Edward Sell, age 54, of Auburn Township, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2024. Born on October 31, 1969, in Euclid, Ohio, he was the son of Albert Sell and the late Willa Mae Ryder.
Steven was a devoted husband to Cari (Vacca) Sell, and a proud father to Brooke , Jodi , and Brody. He was a loving son, cherished brother to Scott and Shanna, and a beloved son-in-law to Tom and Judy Vacca. Steven was also a proud brother-in-law to Mark Vacca (Grace), and Melinda Goldsmith. He was a favorite Uncle to Sam, Stan, Abbie, and Tommy.
A skilled carpenter who learned the trade from his father. Steven also worked as an abstractor, courier, and filer for real estate transactions for his familys’ business. His dedication to his work was matched only by his commitment to his family. Steven's true pride and joy were his children, who were his greatest achievement. He was a loving and supportive father, always present at his children’s school and sporting events, cheering them on with boundless energy and enthusiasm.
Outside of work and family, Steven was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for dirt bikes and trikes, and he was a proud member of the Ohio Trike Club. He enjoyed the freedom of the open trails and the camaraderie of fellow riders. He also expressed his creativity as an artist and enjoyed music, cooking and gaming. Steven was a barefoot golfer, finding peace and fun in the simplicity of the game.
His ability to appreciate the world around him, whether in nature or through his family, made him a cherished presence in the lives of everyone who knew him.
Steven will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor, generosity, and love for his family and trusted companion Ozzy. His legacy is carried on by his beautiful children, his loving wife, and the countless memories he leaves behind with those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and details will be shared by the family.
Steven will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
