As 1964 graduate of Admiral King High School in Lorain, OH Jim was an entrepreneur and true visionary. He saw the possibilities to making something happen and pursued the craziest dreams. His passion, tenacity and labor of love drove his dreams into reality.
Jim’s favorite role in life was being a grandpa, father, and husband. Being surrounded by family, Spudnut Donuts, Diet Coke, Hazelnut Creamer, and his phone to play poker were all he needed to be happy! We laughed at these simple requests but truly he was a simple man.
His zest for life was boating and fishing. Owning several boats and charter captaining out of Lorain was his favorite pastime. He traveled the world and experienced many great adventures along the way.
Jim was preceded in death by his father and mother, David and Maryann (Glaser) Wilson
Left to celebrate Jim’s life is his wife of 14 years, Jackie Boyce, daughters Janice (Wilson) Jokkel and husband Ed, Debbie (Wilson) Bires and husband Joe, sons, James and Jeff (Susan). Stepdaughter Jennifer (Boyce) French and husband Jon, stepson David Boyce and wife Candice. He adored all his grandkids! Brittney Ice and her two daughters Brooklynn and Kennedy, Will, Tabby and their two sons Cam and Damen Ice, Matthew and Sarah Jokkel, Gage and Ashli Wilson, Dylan Good, Caden Wilson, Brandon, Reece and Nolan French and David Jr, and Pepper Boyce. Along with sisters Jane (Dave) Lugar, and Marilyn (Ken) Vazur, nieces and nephews
