William “Willie” G. Rallison of Fleming Island, FL passed on Saturday July 13, 2024. Willie was born on December 14, 1954, in New York to Patricia and Billy G. Rallison. They moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1967. He attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School and Church and graduated from William M. Raines High School in 1972. In 1974 William enlisted in the Navy where he served for 4 years. After which he returned to Jacksonville. He began his career with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office in 1986 as a Corrections Officer and in May 1989 he transferred to the City of Jacksonville where he retired January 7, 2011 from the Public Works Department. He joined the Reserves with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office in November 1996 and retired in April 2007. William is preceded in death by his father: Retired USN Billy G. Rallison, younger brother Wayne J. Rallison and uncle Daniel Posadas., Jr. He is survived by his loving mother Patricia Rallison - Ross, his uncles, Retired USAF, John (Elizabeth) Posadas, Steve Posadas, and his aunt Teresa Goettelmann, bonus sister: Lucy (Rutland) Holman and extended family.
