Walter Delbert Elliott, age 87, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. He was born on March 3, 1937 in Wilco, West Virginia to the late Dorothy A. (Profitt) and Vernon W. Elliott.
He worked in the paper mill industry for 39 years. Walter was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He enjoyed watching TV Westerns; John Wayne was his hero.
He is survived by his daughter, Colleen M. Elliott; son, Walter D. Elliott II; and sister, Betty Jean Elliott.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 55 years, Mae F. (Skrlin) Elliott; brothers, Bobby Elliott, Daniel Elliott, and Kenneth Elliott.
Private family services will be held. His final resting place is with his wife in Heritage Hills Memory Gardens, Springboro, Ohio.
