Robin Colvin, 67, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton with her family by her side on Monday, November 11, 2024. She was born November 11, 1957 in LaFollette, Tennessee to the late Robert and Oda Mae (Sheffield) Childress.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Scott Colvin.
Robin is survived by her son, Bradley (Lindsey) Colvin; daughter, Amy (Curtis) Sebastian; grandchildren, William Colvin, Easton, Austin, and Emerson Sebastian; brother, Tim Childress; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
She graduated Miamisburg High School class of 1976. She attended Wright State University and earned her degree in Nursing in 1980. Robin worked at Miami Valley Hospital in Endoscopy for 30 years and spent the last 10 years of her nursing career at the Dayton VA Medical Center.
Robin loved spending time with her grandkids, especially at the lake and watching them play sports.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Robin's memory may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
A Celebration of Robin's Life will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Star City Social, 16 Water St. Miamisburg, Ohio 45342 with a gathering of family and friends to follow until 8:00 PM.
