Charles Earl Reams

“Chuck”, age 76 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 16, 2015. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 10, 1939 to the late, Frank and Agnes Reams. Also preceding him in death is his beloved daughter, Tonya Reams; brother, Frank Reams Jr.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Corrinne (Edmund) Brown and father-in-law, Willard Gose. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Iris (Gose) Reams; sister, Luanne (Gene) Wilson; brother, Donald (Dottie) Reams; brother-in-law, Barry (Brenda) Gose and a host of special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and friends. Chuck graduated from Belmont High School and Miami Jacobs and is a veteran of the US Army and the Ohio National Guard. He retired from NCR after 35 years of service. Chuck was an avid runner of marathons, ½ marathons and his greatest accomplishment was running in the JFK Memorial Run. He also ran in the Columbus Marathons, Air Force Marathons and was a member of the Ohio River Road Runners. The family would like to say a special Thank You to Dr. Page and his staff, the Miamisburg Police Dept., especially Officer Carter and a special Thank You to niece and nephew, Tom and Judy Littler, for all their help and support. Friends and family may visit from 10am-1pm on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, also on Saturday, with Pastor Debra Holder officiating. Interment following at Hillgrove Cemetery.
