In 2019, looking forward to the dawn of our youngest child being born into this world, Chris and I saw Leo and Norma in their home.  She had shown interest and tenderness to us as she had opportunity over the course of 20 years.  One of Leo's photographs formed our wedding invitation, our now high school daughter received a treasured soft doll in 2007, Mrs. Brito coached me over the phone to get her recipe right by 2010, and we exchanged updates about our families as time continued.  We made the point to see them in Miami twice after living out of state 8 years and then back to West Florida.  We passed thru the January event of your family's loss with concern and do hope the comfort you find is in the Lord.  With thankfulness to  have known this dear woman, Chris and Rachel send our love

Dear Norma, I will always cherish the wonderful memories I have with you at the Graduate School.  I will never forget your warmth, compassion, and guidance you have shown me throughout the years.  I will always remember you! May God have you in His Glory!

My sincerest condolences to the Brito Family during this difficult time.

Estoy segura que Norma vivió su vida como todos quisiéramos que en nuestro funeral hablaran. Que todos alrededor lloren mientras nosotras podemos sonreir proque fué una vida bien vivida. Estoy segura que Nuestro Padre en el cielo la recibió con sus amorosos brazos abiertos, ustedes, sus hijos, nietos y la familia eran su tesoro más importante. Siempre orgullosa de lo que en sus hijos y nietos se habían convertido. Siento mucho que no nos vimos por años como pasa tan frecuentement y lamentarlo ahora no resuelve nada. Que el Señor les conceda a todos paz y sobre todo el aceptar Su voluntad. Que descanse en paz mi querida Norma.
