Dad,

Yesterday marked a year that you left our lives to rest.  Not one day goes by when I am not thinking and missing you.  How I miss talking to you on the phone.  While driving your Passat I always imagine you sitting in the car with me talking away.  You were the BEST father, protector and teacher.  I always valued your advice on life.  Always spot on.  I miss you so much DAD.  I love you, Jeannie.

Happy Heavenly Veterans Day!  You have no idea how much I miss you.  I started my career path with the Army 3 weeks ago and this is the first time, I couldn't pick up the phone and share with you news about my new career adventure.  I know you would have been so proud of me supporting the Army because you served there, as well of Tio Pepe.  Everyday I go to work I think about you more now and wonder what it was like for you as an Army Solider.   I talk about you often in the office and let folks know you served in Germany.

I miss and love you! I miss our talks very much.  So many changes in my new career path that I wish I could share with you.  But I know in my heart, you are watching me from above with a big a smile and feeling proud. Love you forever, Jeannie.

Dad,

Thank you so much for all you have taught and given me.  You challenged me when I was young to make sure I was a strong adult and stood my ground.  You made taught me to be humble, so I can be grateful for all the little things in life.  You made sure I was alert and sharp so I could take advantage of any opportunity that can before me and be brave to fight life's challenges.

Because of you, I am who I am today.  I am so proud and grateful that you were my Dad.  My life success, I owe to you.   I will miss our talks and the great advice you always provided me.

I know you are watching us all from the skies above.  I Love you and miss you every day, Jeannie, Your loving daughter.

I sure will miss Tio Nelson, he was such a kind person.  I will never forget the summer of 1972 when Mike and I spend literally everyday with Tio and Titi and we made such wonderful memories.  May he rest in peace until we meet again!

My deepest condolences to the family…the loss of a Dad leaves a pain in the heart which never goes away.  You turn to your memories for comfort and he will continue to live on in your heart.

I wish I could be with you the family during this time. I cherish the time I came to visit and Tio and I would be early birds and have coffee and toast and talk. When us girls made plans to go to play bingo I cooked and made real mashed potatoes and after that he told Titi not to make instant anymore. I spoiled him. Was so glad he enjoyed my meal.  Hopefully I can visit soon and I will miss him. Rest now and we will meet again.
