Dear members of Dr Linne Toussaint  MD’s Family
I take this space to express my deepest condolences to you on the departure from Mother Earth of your beloved husband, father,uncle, grand father.
 Unable to join you in the celebration of a life well spent , I hope my simple words will bring some comfort , knowing others share deeply in your sorrow. For I met Linne in 1954, when he entered the Faculte de Medecine et Pharmacie de l’Universite d’Haiti , one year after my own admission. 
Over the years, having chosen the specialty of Anesthesiology in the USA, we met often at Specialty meetings. 
Throughout the painful events  befallen to your family during the years , I communicated with him, offering the support  from one father to another.
I trust the memories of a devoted husband, father , dignified human being will sustain you in the days, months, years  ahead.

I dedicate an iconic gospel song of comfort to the Toussaint family Homegoing Service ' Open Our Eyes' by the Gospel Cleffs that ended the radio broadcast day on WVON Chicago in the days of my youth.

May God strengthen and comfort the family. Praying always for you Regine and family. Cherish the beautiful memories and remember you will always have a special place in your dad’s heart.

Sorry to hear about the death of a Dear friend, we meet at Oak Forest Nursing Facility in Illinois in 1966 where he was a ER Doctor and then again at St Mary’s Medical Center in 1974 after I was hired as a Surgical Nurse.  Dr was in Anesthesia by then.He was always taken a bunch of us out to eat on Birthdays or Anniversaries.  I will miss my friend and will pray for God to give Rose strength and good health to go through his absence. To all the family you have my Condolences. Mrs Geraldine Starks RN. BSN Gary Indiana.

Linne (a.k.a "Father") was a personal friend and colleague from the day I started my nursing career in 1973. We worked together at St. Mary Medical Center in Gary, Indiana for 17 years through the good & the bad times of shift duty, and then briefly at the Ross Clinic Surgery Center in Merrillville, Indiana.  He was a part of my amazing support system when my husband died unexpectedly in 1997 when my children were only 6 and 8 years of age. 
I will never forget him and cherished him for his pragmatic outlook on life. He lived every day to the fullest. May he rest in peace now.

Regine, Erick, Taji & Ayana -  In tribute to a great man and in celebration of a wonderful life, his light will live on in each of you and all the people who knew and loved him.  Fred and I are sharing in your sorrow and loss. Our ears are for listening, our shoulders are for crying and we will always be here for you.
