Georgia Pitsoulakis, age 80, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 21, 2018. She was born on April 4, 1938 in Sparta , Greece to Nicholas and Anna Tserotas. Georgia was a very active member of the St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church including being a member of the Philoptochos Society. She loved to volunteer her time to the church, especially, during the annual Greek Festival where she helped run the Loukoumades station. Georgia will forever be remembered for the love she had for her church, her love of dancing and for the incredible love for her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Michael; sons, Tony (Maria) and Spiro; 5 grandchildren Michael, Alyssa, Nathan, Anna and Katerina; one great-granddaughter, Sophia; sister, Voula Tsolkas; brother, Maki Tserotas; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend of 46 years whom she loved with her whole heart, Fotini Kasselakis. Viewing will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Caballero Rivero Funeral Home, 3344 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 2401 SW 3rd Avenue, Miami, FL., followed by Burial at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn Park Cemetery (North) 3260 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL.
