Dorothy B. Norton (Brown) was born in Auburn, Indiana on April 9, 1923 to Frank E. Brown and Beatrice Brown (Soule). She married Ren Norton on February 14, 1943. They were married for over 60 years until he passed in 2003. She liked to be called by her nickname, Dodie. She gave birth to David Norton, Brenda Tierman, and Lisa Lashbrook. She is survived by her children, six grandchildren - Amy, Kimberly, Kevin, Marra, Jason, and Kelly. She has four great grandchildren - Gabriel, Gustavo, Lauren, and Eleanor. She is also survived by her three
son-in-laws - Gary Lashbrook, Douglas Tierman, Kazu Inoue, and numerous extended family members. She passed on December 31, 2013 in Miami, Florida. She will be laid to rest next to Ren at the Miami Memorial Park Cementery in Section D. Her family and friends will miss her deeply.
