Bernice “Boo” Snow was born March 3, 1929, in the Bronx, New York. She passed peacefully at home on October 4, 2024. She was the matriarch of her large loving family. Boo was a lover of life and lived it to the fullest. She and the love her life, her husband, Selig, moved to Miami in the early 1950’s. Boo attended the University of Miami, and she and Selig fell in love not only with each other but with all that Miami had to offer.
She enjoyed fishing and boating in the Florida Keys and spending weekends in their Islamorada home. They loved to travel and visited most every country in the world.
Boo was also a patron of the arts. She supported and enjoyed all the culture that Miami offered: the opera, ballet, theater, etc. She loved it all. Boo was foremost a philanthropist and giving to her charities was of utmost importance. She was a gourmet cook and entertainer who loved to celebrate life. She created lasting memories for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Survived by her children, Laurie, Paul, Matthew, Ilene and Julie. Her grandchildren Alexandra, Elizabeth, Cassie, Katelin, Meghan, Jessica, Katie, and many great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 12:30 P.M at Riverside Gordon Mount Memorial Chapels at Nebo (Kendall) 5900 SW 77th Avenue Miami, Fl 33143.
