William Bill "Bill" A. St. John Sr.

William “Bill” A. St. John, Sr, entered peacefully into heaven at the age of 81 on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia Meynier St. John, son William A. St. John, Jr. and his wife Maria Piazza St. John, and daughter, Bridgette A. St. John.

Proud grandfather of Trey and Megan St. John; Paul and Lauren White; Angela and Chad Quigley, and his great grandchildren Lily, Liam and Rhodes.

He is preceded in death by parents Eugenie Markey St. John and Edward M. St. John, Sr., his brother, Eugene M. St. John. He is survived by his brother, Edward M. St. John, Jr., of Fort Wayne, Indiana, many loving other family members and friends.

Bill retired after many years of service with Bell South and was also a member of the Pioneers, and a member of Airline Lions Club in which he was a past President and Secretary.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:30 am until Mass time. Interment will be private.
