Walton C. Hall, Jr. "WC" to his many friends, died June 10, 2013 at 8:30 p.m. in Metairie, Louisiana, from complications attendant to scleroderma. Mr. Hall was born in Memphis Tennessee September 1, 1932 but grew up in Charleston, Mississippi where he graduated from Charleston High School. After spending two years in the U.S. Army, Mr. Hall attended Senatobia Junior College. He worked as a pipefitter for sprinkler systems for thirty years in Memphis, New York, Dallas and settled in Metairie, Louisiana in 1962 where he lived until his death. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, Vera and Walton Hall, and his son, Michael Joseph Hall. He is survived by his wife, Sadie Patterson Hall, two sisters, Vera Ashmore and Joann Garner, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Barbara and Frank Herrin, several nephews and nieces, as well as an extensive group of friends. He was a longtime volunteer worker at East Jefferson Hospital. He was a member of Local 669 of the Sprinkler Pipefitters Union and also a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner. He had been very active friend of Bill W since 1990 and will be deeply missed by many other friends of Bill.
