SFC Stephen Charles Perry passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the age of 35. He is survived by his wife, Rachael Perry; his step-children, Zachariah Moore and Kaitlyn Moore; his parents, Ronnie C. Perry Sr. and Donna Laizer Perry; his siblings, Rhonda Perry Sproles (Troy), Ronnie C. Perry Jr. (Lisa); Clifton R. Perry; his Godson, Patrick Macaluso, Jr.; his grandfather, Stephen J. Laizer Jr.; as well as 5 nephews and 2 nieces, other relatives, and friends. He served two tours in Iraq with the United States Army, and was stationed in Korea at the time of death. He served in the Army for 15 years. Stephen is a member of the American Legion Post 175 and Voiture 1522.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Lakelawn Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warriors. Express condolences at www.leitzeagan.com.
