Sandra Anderson Faught was born on March 2, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She grew up in Tallulah, Louisiana, where she graduated from high school before attending college in Lafayette, Louisiana. In her later years, she was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Metairie.
Sandra was the co-owner of Le Boulevard Marketplace in Metairie, a place that showcased her limitless talent and creativity. Throughout her life, she explored various artistic pursuits, including writing, sculpting, and painting. However, she was best known for her exquisite jewelry-making, particularly during the 1980s and 1990s. Sandra had a remarkable ability to accomplish whatever she set her mind to, but her most cherished role was that of a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie L. Anderson and Ina Anderson, as well as her brother, Tommy Anderson.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 58 years, Charles Bruce Faught; two beautiful daughters, Sealy Elizabeth Faught and Kathryn Faught Savoie (Bart Savoie); her beloved grandson, Andrew (Drew) Charles Ballinger and her nephew, Thomas Lambert Anderson.
Sandra’s kindness, creativity, and love will forever be remembered by those who knew her.
A graveside service for Sandra will be held at Silver Cross Cemetery, U.S 80, Tallulah, LA on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM.
