Beloved husband of the late Ruby Térése Dupré Hébert after having shared 62 years of sacred marriage. Loving father of Druby (Kathy), Paul II (Theresa), Terrin-Ray (Rachelle), Evin, Marius (Ann) Hébert and the late Terence Hébert. Devoted grandfather of Jennifer Hébert, Jessica (Dominick) Porrazzo, Charles, Michael, Daniel and the late Jeremy Hébert.
Proud great-grandfather of AshleyPorrazzo.
Preceded in death by parents, Odele and Joseph Hébert, sister’s Lillian Picone, Elda Hébert and Leonise Foreman and brother’s Sam Hébert and Wilson Hébert.
Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
Mr. Hébert was a United States Army WWII Veteran, a retired butcher in the meat packing industry with 42 years of service, a lifelong parishioner of St. Alphonsus Parish and a Blessed Seelos volunteer.
Aged 90 years, born in Theriot, Louisiana, a native of Bayou Cane, Louisiana, former resident of the Irish Channel (New Orleans, Louisiana) and a resident of River Ridge, Louisiana for the past 5 years.
A mass will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma on Monday December 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation at the church from 8:00 a.m. until time of service, with interment following in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, Louisiana.
Masses preferred in lieu of flowers.
