Michael E. L. Roberson, Sr.

Mike leaves behind his loving wife of 29 years Shaun Kiefer Roberson. He was the proud father of children Michael Roberson Jr, Crystal Roberson Schanno (Ryan), Lisa Roberson Grundmann (Rock), Christopher Roberson, Courtney Roberson, Casey Roberson, and elated grandfather of Gavin, Ethan, Ella, Payton, and Noah “Bob”. Mike is the son of Learnine Vercher Roberson and the late E.L. “Bob” Roberson. Preceded in death by sisters Patricia Carr and Trudy Danna. Survived by sister Dolly Reynolds Mims and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mike dedicated over 48 years of his life to owning and operating Roberson Advertising. Mike thoroughly lived life to the fullest, from owning airplanes and racehorses to never passing up the opportunity to go on a cruise. He enjoyed his time at the camp, his happy place, porch sitting, and spending time with his family. It truly was Mike Roberson’s world. He believed that being his children’s father was the greatest honor of his life, and every single day he had with them was a gift.

Anyone who knew Mike knew of his love of a good dad-joke. He also had many Mike-isms. We would be remised to not give him the last laugh… so your dog has fleas, hahaha.

A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am - 10:00 am with a Mass starting at 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, Louisiana.
