Michael was a devout Christian and faithful servant of our Lord from a young child and dedicated his life to serving and spreading the message of God. He trusted Him until his last breath and was rewarded by peacefully being welcomed into paradise. Michael’s passing will leave a void in the lives of all who loved him.
A life-long native of New Orleans, Michael had an unrelenting love for LSU and the Saints. He was a graduate of McDonough 35 High School, attended UNO and was retired from Entergy, where he was an Accountant II for over thirty years.
Michael was surrounded in his last weeks by his loving family, which gave him great comfort. He is survived by his greatest loves - his devoted wife, Nina who was by his side until his last breath, his three children, Nicholas Giambrone, Dr. Nicole Giambrone (Gordon Reid) and Jonathan Giambrone (Tomy Lagneaux), his stepdaughter Kassie Killebrew, his sister Maria Giambrone (Randy Crim). He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Connor, Addison and Avery Giambrone.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Giambrone, Sr. and Elodie “Dee” Giambrone, and brother, Vincent Giambrone, Jr.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 11:00am. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1.
