Linda Ann Stoltz Tefft entered into eternal rest on Monday morning, November 23, 2015. She was 62 years old. Linda was surrounded by her loving and devoted husband of over 42 years, Stanley James Tefft Jr. and daughters Melissa Tefft Horridge (Brandon) and Lindsay Marie Tefft. Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to Julia and Ava Horridge and Logan Tefft whom she loved more than life itself. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Linda served as a kindergarten teacher’s assistant, in addition to many other roles, at St. Christopher School, her second home for almost 35 years. Mrs. Linda was beloved by all those she worked with and adored by her students. She loved to travel, especially to the beach, with the girls. She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Ruth Stoltz and Godfather Edwin L. Stoltz, Sr. She is also survived by her brother Melvin Stoltz (Sue) and his son Matthew Stoltz (Jessica), as well as numerous other nephews, nieces, cousins, and close friends. Though born in New Orleans, Linda was a lifelong resident of Metairie and graduated from Riverdale High School. Linda will be laid to rest on Saturday, November 28 with visitation beginning at 8:30 am at St. Christopher Church, 309 Manson Avenue, Metairie, LA. Mass and funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm with burial immediately following at St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1 in New Orleans.
