A man with a passion for nature, Bill was an avid outdoors sportsman and lifelong horticulture enthusiast. He was a protector and lover of creatures, great and small, with an uncommon ability to nurture and bring both flora and fauna to life.
After graduating from LSU in 1972 with a degree in International Trade and Finance, he was employed by Lykes Lines the following year and retired from them in 2012.
Bill was an engaging storyteller and friend to many. His life was as colorful as his birth, coming into, living, and leaving on his own terms. He will not be forgotten.
