Evelyn M. Peltier, loving wife of the late James Peltier, mother of Richard (Danna), Karen (Jeff), Daryl (Kathleen), Ryan (Dianne), Grandmother of eleven and Great-Grandmother of eight passed away January 14, 2024. Evelyn was born in the Irish Channel, New Orleans February 21,1936 and raised by her parents John and Nora Murphy. She lived in the Irish Channel until 1984 then moved to Metairie. Preceded in death by parents and siblings, John Jr., Alvin, Dan, Janice, with surviving brother Michael. She had many loving friends and relatives. A Mass will be held January 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, La. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M.
