Dorothy Lenz Hurley

Dorothy Lenz Hurley, age 91, died at East Jefferson General Hospital, Metairie, LA on Sunday, August 7, 2011. She was a native and lifelong resident of the New Orleans area. Wife of the late John D. Hurley, Sr. Mother of Joan H. Morales (George) and John D. Hurley Jr. (Brenda). She was daughter of the late Alice Glynn and Charles Joseph Lenz. Sister of the late Charles J. Lenz Jr. and Earl A. Lenz. Grandmother of Jonathon Hurley, Bradley Morales, Tina Musacchia and Melissa McDaniel. Great grandmother of Austin, Gabby, Megan and Sam.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass from the Metairie home of THARP-SONTHEIMER-THARP, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. at 43rd Street on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 12:00 Noon, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1.
