Daniel Paul Jude Oubs

Daniel Paul Jude Oubs, 61 of Metairie, LA passed away, Friday May 7, 2021. Daniel was born August 3rd 1959 in New Orleans LA to Irwin and Amelia Oubs. He graduated from Abramson High School ini 1977. Daniel had a love for music of the 70's, and was naturally talented at pulling out smiles from the those he loved. His wonders from the kitchen went unmatched during family gatherings, especially his turkey andouille gumbo, and his signature roux! A former manager at Helm Paint, he had and eye for color and loved home improvement. Nothing could take the place of the love he had for his children, as they were the love of his life. Daniel is survived by his loving children, Jake T Bryant, Austin E Oubs, Ethan G Oubs, his brother's Irwin (Joey) J Oubs Jr.; Terry Oubs; sister in law Kathy Oubs, nephew Lance Oubs and mother of his children Kelly Bryant. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, the late Irwin Joseph and Amelia Oubs, his grandparents Emile and Myrtle Oubs, and his beloved nephew Jason Oubs. A celebration of his life will be held from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. on Saturday May 22nd at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. 70006.
