Charles D. Pack

Charles D. Pack, age 94, passed away on Monday January 28, 2013. Beloved husband of Dorothy E. Pack. Preceded in death by his first wife the late Marion Griffin Pack. Loving father of Glen and Marc Pack. Proud grandfather of William and Darion Pack. Son of the late Joseph and Mary Pack. Brother of the late Frank and Joe, brother in-law of Peggy Griffin and Jack Bryan. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Charles was a veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during World War II as a Captain for five years serving four of those years in the Pacific. He went on to work at the Continental Can Company where he retired after 27 years of employment.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Bld. Metairie on Friday February 1, 2013 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:00 am until time of service. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family would like to give a Special Thanks to Laine, Cathy, Bev, Sunshine and Natalie for their loving care and the support of all the staff at Serenity Hospice.
