Cassondra “Cassie” Billedeau-Stratton, age 40, wife of Michael Stratton, mother of Ariana Hevia, Sister of Ashley Irwin Dean and the late Kimberly Jean Irwin, daughter of Kerry Irwin Billedeau, half-sister of Necole Vernon and Stephanie Font’e, granddaughter of the late Ethel Clark Marter, niece of Ralph Marter and the late Clark Marter.
Red headed and full of fire from day one. After Katrina took her home in 2005, Cassie moved to NYC and began an amazing career in acting, fashion, and modeling. Moving to Miami five years ago she continued her fashion career as an influencer and began teaching Pilates. She and her husband Michael were world travelers and Cassie especially loved living on the beach, unfortunately, she was one of the victims of the Miami condo building collapse on June, 24, 2021.
A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana. All those who knew and loved her are welcomed to attend. An inurnment will follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, 6851 River Road, Waggaman, Louisiana 70094. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, please consider a donation to Children's Hospital of New Orleans in Cassie's honor.
