Betty Leonard

Betty Leonard, age 97, of River Ridge, Louisiana passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021. She is survived by her loving children; Robert "Bob" Leonard, Jack Leonard (Janet Tosh - deceased), Greg Leonard (Michelle Edrington), Cindy Leonard Salazar (Jason), grandchildren; Christine Leonard, Leah Hallett (Leeland), and Justin Leonard. She is preceded in death by her brother; Robert "Bob" Bruemmer.

She was a devout Catholic from St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church of Harahan. She retired from Radiofone after many years. She enjoyed going on cruises, doing crossword puzzles, enjoyed eating out and visiting with her family. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2020 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm followed by a Memorial Mass at 1:00 pm. A private burial will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that masses could be said in her honor.
