She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Ernest Gwen King; parents, Johnie and Mary Medlin; sister Carlene Fenton; nephew Tommy Medlin; great-nephews Ashton Yates and Dillon Rhodenbaugh.
Virginia is survived by her daughter Teresa Tagliarino and husband Charles; granddaughter Tiffany Tagliarino; grandson Stephen Tagliarino and wife Gina; great-granddaughter Tinsley Gwen Tagliarino; sisters Charlene Pullen and husband Payton, Wanda Gipson and husband Keith, Elaine Shofner and husband Rusty, and Welta Lott and husband Glenn; brother Johnie Medlin and wife Diane; nieces and nephews Jamie Beets, Debbie Remy, Ricky Medlin, Brian Medlin, Kim Yates, Rhonda and Brian Roumpf,
Tammy and Charley Allen, Sandy Shofner-Nichols, Chris Shofner, Stacy and Lee Smith, and Brandi and Richard Martin.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home in Mesquite, Texas with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Seagoville, Texas. Ken Lefler will officiate. Pallbearers will be Rusty Shofner, Brian Roumpf, Lee Smith, Ricky Medlin, Charley Allen, and Richard Martin. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5-8 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home.
