Ted was a hard-working man. He spent most of his days working toward a better life for wife and son. He had a heart of gold and will of iron. The kind of man whose last conscious decision was refusing to be “stretchered” into the ambulance, he decided he would walk and step into it on his own merit, and by his own power. This is the same man who cried and shed tears because he saw a squirrel dying. He cared for all forms of life, especially animals.
He was so full of light, love, compassion and his laughter and personality so contagious, he brought joy, laughter, and happiness to almost every situation he was in. He left an impression on everyone in his life and leaves behind a memory of a Strong Willed, Big hearted and Gentle natured soul. He spent his days laughing and joking, not a serious bone to be found in his entire body. He was loved by many and will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone he touched, in the memories of everyone who knew him, and in the actions of the lessons he taught us.
The year 2022, it’s the year of Ted. He declared it, and live everything he set his mind to, the year of Ted it’s going to be. Rest easy, Heavy-T. You are gone, but impossible to forget.
