Ng’arge “Nee” Shaw was born to Mary Spears and Reginald Shaw in St. Paul, Minnesota. He grew up in Woodville, Texas eventually moving to Nevada, Texas graduating from Community High School in 1993. Ng’arge was born February 27, 1975 and left this earthly home on August 7, 2021. Ng’arge commonly known as “Nee” was a family man and big hearted caring soul.
Nee met the love of his life Joni the summer of 1995 and united in marriage on October 12, 2002 they had 21 beautiful years together before Joni passed away. Raising 5 daughters together Brianesha, Miranda, Adia, Jada, and Jasmine.
Nee spent most of his career at Richardson ISD where he started in March 1996 on a landscape crew, he quickly became a landscape supervisor. In 2005 he brought the pest-control department in-house as the IPM coordinator. In 2016 he was promoted to Grounds Manager and then in 2020 to Director of Grounds until his passing.
Nee’s enjoyment came from time with his daughters and family hosting family gatherings. He loved sports and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed going to the casino with his mom. One of his other passions was cooking and trying different foods.
To know “Nee” was to love him, his comedic nature and life of the party attitude. His abundance of love as a father and friend to many. He is now with Joni for ever more.
A limb has fallen from the family tree that says “Grieve not for me. Remember the good times, the laughter, and the songs. The good life I lived while strong.” We celebrate Ng’arge “Nee’s” life as we honor and pay tribute to the King he always was. He leaves behind 5 daughters, Brianesha Jackson, Miranda Swanagen, Adia Shaw and husband Graham, Jada Shaw, Jasmine Shaw; 3 granddaughters, Aniyah Truelove, Aubri Bilton, Alexia Truelove Aka (Cookie); grandson, Aiden Ng’arge Bilton Aka (Dome); Father, Reginald Shaw and wife Shirley, Mother, Mary Lugrand and husband Weylon; Sisters, Tori Shaw and fiancée Kevon Mack, Katrina Battle; stepsister, Eunice Cruz and husband Alex; son-in-law, Joseph Truelove; along with many…many aunts, uncles, cousins and host of nieces, nephews, and plethora of friends.
During these trying hours the comfort of those who love us has been one of our sustaining elements. Your prayers have strengthened our faith your kind words of sympathy have encouraged our hurting hearts because of you, the burden that seems so heavy seems lighter now… Thank you
