Born August 8, 1933 in Boswell, Oklahoma and went home to meet her Lord and Savior at the age of 86 in Mesquite, Texas on January 5, 2020. She is proceeded in death by her parents Jim and Mae Porter, sister Dorothy Porter, brother Robert Porter, nephew Dale Petkoff and great nephew Aaron Bitler. Irene is survived by her brother Don Porter, Brother Gene Porter and wife Pam, sister Helen Stewart and husband R.A. and sister Shirley Petkoff and husband Bob, 3 nephews Jim Virgin, John Virgin and Robert Porter, 4 nieces Margaret Virgin Bitler, Lisa Power, Eva Harvey and Monica Hunkel-Dollente. The children of her heart were Kathy Redman and husband Tony, John Mark Orr and wife Susie and their families. Also left to cherish her memory is her church family at Highland Oaks Church of Christ in Dallas, Texas, her Bell Telephone Family and Special Friend Lavern Odom.
