GWENDOLYN LOUISE GAINES was the second child born October 26, 1957 in Dallas, TX to the parentage of the late Cartyleau Sims and Mary Louise Bynum-Alvarez. She graduated from L. V. Berkner high in 1975 and attended one semester of Texas Wesleyan University of Denton, TX. Married Prentice Edward Gaines on October 1985. Worked as a bus driver for the Richardson ISD for many years until she became the care giver of her Mother. Gwen was charismatic, witty, feisty, never met a stranger, made friends easily. She will be missed. She is survived by: stepmother, Rosetta Sims of Mission Viejo, CA ;one son, Demond Sims of Dallas, TX ; two sisters, La Donna Nolasco of Garland, TX , Garilynn Dickson of Mission Viejo, CA ; three neices ; Timika Sims of Plano, TX, Teilia Greer of Garland,TX, Erica Dickson of Palmdale, CA ; two nephew, Christopher Mack of Garland, TX, Travian Greer of Garland, Tx; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends who dearly loved her.
