Deborah L Contreras, 54, passed away January 24, 2022 in Mesquite, Texas. She was born July 11, 1967 in Greenville, South Carolina to Clyde Davenport and Anita Davenport. Deborah was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1986. She married Greg Contreras in 1988 and the couple had three children. She worked for Mesquite ISD at Range Elementary for more than 8 years. In her spare time Deborah enjoyed spending time with family, indulging in sitcom T.V and supernatural oriented shows. She loved having laugh filled conversations with her loved ones and making people smile and of course was a Dr. Pepper enthusiast. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving, selfless, kind hearted woman. She was a strong willed individual set on making sure her loved ones were taken care of, many considered her a mother they didn't have.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clyde Davenport. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Greg Contreras; children, Gregory, Daniel and Heather Contreras; mother, Anita Davenport; brother, Kenneth Davenport and sister, Shannon Davenport.
Deborah had always been a caretaker for her loved ones, she dedicated her life to putting a smile on peoples faces through love, affection and laughter. Everyone knew when it mattered most, nothing would stop her from being there for the people she loved. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service for Deborah will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Pkwy, Mesquite, Texas 75149.
