Alfredo Garza was born in Harlingen Texas on October 23, 1937. He was raised in Houston Texas by his grandmother. After graduating high school he enlisted in the Marines. He served 6 years. In 1958 he met the love of his life Aurora. The married in 1960 and moved to Dallas to raise their family.
Alfredo was an enthusiastic baseball fan. He coached and played in his earlier years. His favorite football team the Red Skins, was always a rival with his grandchildren who are Cowboys fans.
Alfredo was most proud of his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Alfredo is proceed by his wife of 63 years Aurora Garza, son Fred Garza and daughter Barbara Atilano. He is survived by his son Daniel Garza and daughter Susie Garza and Martha Carter, and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
