I had the privilege to get to know Wyatt over that summer. 

It all started when a group of guys showed up at my house one day. They were a rowdy bunch to say the least, but I opened my home and my heart to these guys and gave them a safe place to have fun. 

From movie nights to going to the lake Wyatt always had a smile on his face and a laugh that would make others laugh right along with him. He took me to the local country bar and tried his best to teach me how to line dance. He had such patience as I’m still not the most coordinated person. There was one night I came home and Wyatt on the roof of my house. He just laughed when I told him to get his butt down. Card games and  long conversations about everything.He was a true friend and I have missed him very much.

Rest easy my friend. 


I wanted to thank Specialst’s Martin’s family for the memorial bench at cat peaks in Usery Park. It is December 24, 2020. Christmas Eve. My husband and I have been very ill with the coronavirus. He is still currently in the hospital in ICU.  I am sitting on specialist Martin‘s bench thanking of my gratitude for his service and sacrifice to provide freedom to all of us who live in this great land. Merry Christmas and thank you.  

It is with great sadness that I sign this book. I didn't know you, but my daughter is a Marine, but I would hope that someone she didn't know would acknowledge her service for her country. Thank you and God bless you and your family. My most sincerest condolences to your family.
