Wilma Jean Campbell of Mesa, Arizona, passed away April 5, 2016 at the age of 76. She was born July 11, 1939 in Union City, Pennsylvania to Harold Marvin and Evelyn June [Lewis] McCray. Wilma enjoyed crocheting and knitting for her family and friends. She was one of five children and loved playing cards and board games every chance she had. She was a military wife and loved to travel to many states and countries. Wilma was an avid collector of bells and had one from every place she visited and lived. She was most proud of her family and would enjoy cooking and baking with her children and grandchildren, especially around the holidays. She also enjoyed a long career with U S Army Civil Service before retirement. Wilma was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Frederick Campbell in 2003, her brother Robert McCray and her grandson Jeremiah. She is survived by her loving children Amanda Sword, Sandra (Mike) Hernandez, Frederick (Deborah) Campbell and Marvin (Brenda) Campbell; her sister Donna Swarm; brothers Gary and Clark McCray; grandchildren Shane, Shanna, Michael, Marshall, Jodi, Jesse and Emma as well as 15 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd in Mesa. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens (480) 830-4422
