William "Bill" Allen Holt, Sr. departed this life on Friday, November 27, 2015. Bill was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 4, 1937 but always considered Tennessee as his home state. He is survived by his wife, Donna, of 58 years, his son, William (Willie), and grandchildren, Rachelle and Chase. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dyane, who left this life of June 15, 1998. He leaves four sisters, Betty Ford, Dolly Johnson (Fred), Donna Choate, and Bonnie Flowers (Leon) . During his college days at Arizona State University, he worked alongside his wife at Claude F. Hamon CPA Office. Bill graduated from ASU in 1962 and taught at Westwood High School in Mesa for the next five years. He received his Masters of Science in Business Administration from ASU in the spring of 1967. In the fall of 1967, he began a long teaching and administrative career at Mesa Community College. He retired in December of 1995. He was a member of Apache Wells Community Church in Mesa and a member of Munds Park Community Church in Munds Park. He loved Munds Park in the summer with his church and golf friends and in the fall and spring golfing with his three favorite longtime friends. He was blessed with a wonderful wife for so many amazing years. Memorial services will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Apache Wells Community Church, 2115 North Gayridge Road, Mesa and Munds Park Community Church at a future date in May.
