Susan Arlene Bergman

Susan A. Berman, resident of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Argusville, ND, passed away on March 14, 2020 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 73. Susan was born in Fargo, ND on December 28, 1946 to Gene and Betty [Hlebechuk] Payne. Susan was raised in Argusville, ND and graduated from Argusville High School in 1965. She went on to obtain a degree in nursing and worked as a surgical nurse for many years at St. John’s and with Dr. Abdullah, a plastic surgeon. Susan was married to Robert Bergman in Santa Barbara on March 17, 1973. She and Robert farmed at Argusville until 1994. Susan was an avid card player, with bridge being her favorite. She had many, many friends whom she enjoyed visiting with. Susan had a big heart for anyone that needed anything!! She loved her family and was always there for us!!! An amazing quilter and made many for other people!! We will miss her!! She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Robert Bergman; children Rob (Anna) and Tony (Megan); grandchildren, Elle and twins, Lincoln and Camryn; sadly Susan was not able to see or hold the twins. She is also survived by her brothers Tom (Sandy) Payne, from Fargo, ND, and Jim (Mary Beth) Payne, from West Fargo, ND; her sister, Mary Jean (Charley) Jones from Argusville, ND; her brother-in-law, Jim Guy and her sisters-in-law, Marsha Bergman and Mary Jo Bergman. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Betty Payne; her sister-in-law, Janie Guy and many beloved aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held in late summer 2020 in Fargo, ND.
