Steven Alan Jacobsen was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on October 5, 1965 to Dean Jacobsen and Nadine Holt. When Steven was young it was obvious to all who knew him that he was a young man with the drive and ambition to do well in life. In his youth he had an interest in Music but his greatest joy was a love of the outdoors. To earn extra spending money during his youth Steven often knocked on neighborhood doors asking for yard cleaning jobs. He honed his business skills by starting out as a paperboy for the Idaho Statesman. As a reward for providing excellent delivery service he won a trip to Disneyland in California.
Steven’s great love for the outdoors led Steven to a job working for Enviroscape. He acquired the company 5 years later and continued the tradition of providing the residents of Leisure World with quality landscaping services and great customer service. It was during this time he met his future Wife Debra Lynn Smith. After their marriage, Steven and Debra operated the business jointly until his recent death.
Steven loved trucks and his pride and joy was a late model Dodge Ram Hemi with all of the bells and whistles. He loved to relax by riding his Beach Cruiser bicycle around the neighborhood. Two of his favorite past’s times were playing electronic video games and figuring out how things were put together and how they worked.
Steven is survived by his loving wife Debra Jacobsen, his Mother Nadine and her husband, Gerald Holt and his Father Dean and his wife, Virginia Jacobsen, his twin brother Brian Jacobsen, Brother Daniel Jacobsen and Sisters, Teresa Jacobsen, Susan Jacobsen Buck & Vicki Blessinger Henry.
Farewell and Shine On, Steve! We love you!
