Robert “Bob” Eden, of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away January 24, 2017 at the age of 70. He was born September 29, 1946 in Salt Lake City, UT to George Albert and Della Ruth [Butterfield] Eden. He graduated from West High School in 1965. Bob served in the U.S Navy on the USS Taussig battleship during the Vietnam war; he was very proud of his service. Bob was fascinated with World War II history, loved planes and ships; he also enjoyed fixing just about anything, movie trivia and working in the garden; he truly had a “green thumb”. Survivors include: his beloved wife of 48 years, Sherrie [Wharff] Eden; son, Robert Gregory (Janell) Eden; daughters, Brenda (Phil) Rogers and Michelle (Shane) Murray; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and his brother, Jack John. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 28, 2017 with a visitation one hour prior at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care 6747 E. Broadway Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206.
