Becky was a soft spoken, and loving lady, who for the past 5+ years has been battling health issues.  I already miss her so much and can hardly believe this is real.  I had the prevlige to have seen her appartment she recently moved into.  She had plans for her future.  Susan and Dean have been a very loving care givers.  I can tell you Becky was a loving sweet cousin.  Sue,  you will have a special place in heaven for the wonderful care you have given her.  I sent my love and prayers to you all in her family. Becky came into our lives 4 years ago, on a baseball field. Wearing her hat backwards, gave a big smile and stood by me. I don't think a moment passed, we became friends. She had asked who my son was on the team. I told  her #13." The dirty one?" she said. He's a Pig Pen! HaHa. forever that stuck with him. Her beautiful spirit cried out "go PP!"  One of so many memories we have. Girl, we miss you and love you dearly. We'll do it all again someday : )

My prayers go out to all of Becky's family and friends.  She will be terribly missed.  I met her through Deanna and we just hit it right off that same day.  She had a beautiful spirit.  God be with you.  Peace be still...........

It is so hard to believe she is gone.

Becky was smart, FUN and a mentor to many of her colleagues over the years. She loved her family. She was generous and had about the sharpest wit of anyone you'll know.

Here's to the tremendous memories and all the joy Becky brought to this earth.

My dearest Becky - I bid farewell to you in a way I never imagined would happen. As I think of you, I remember with tears and smiles all you have been to me. My life changed that day when we met in the 7th grade and you so boldly said "you aren't so tough" and I said "well, who said that" - it was from then on, we were fast friends. You mastered the song "Come on the feel the noise" on the flute, and your dad was less than pleased to hear your tune at 2 AM. We laughed then and we laughed many, many other times.

 

We crank called our way for the next 20 + years. If anyone one hurt us, they probably considered changing their phone number because we called them A LOT. Thank you Sue for your phone line, we made good use of it while you were out. Thinking of that, we had the all time greatest prank of "Live in Leo". And Peter, while you were out, we snooped through your stuff and we laughed as we did it. I even think I layed on your closet floor once or maybe it was your bed... and we took pictures with your camera. Ok that is funny. Speaking of, she loved you Sue and Peter, she was proud of you both. Thank you Sue for picking us up when we needed a ride and thank you Peter for never getting annoyed as we laughed calling you Disco Duck:) Where that came from, I honestly can't remember.

 

Speaking of Peter, we painted your toe nails before your left on your trip as a truck driver and how mad you were when you found your red toe nails at a truck stop. Haha, you didn't have polish remover and we laughed even harder! Then we plastered maxi pads on your truck and the heat melted them.... oooh... were we in trouble and Becky, you blamed me! :) We scraped it off, or I think I hung off the side of the truck scraping it while you did, I don't know what. We had no shame for our crank calls and even sent the chair lounge guy to your parents house with the demo chair in the back of the truck - I still laugh thinking of that. Your mother Poker Patty was pretty ticked but we laughed anyways.

 

When college rolled around, Becky you went, and later convinced me I could do it too. You held my hand as I applied and enrolled and later we argued over who would walk to the top floor of the parking garage in 115 degrees heat to get the car - I always lost. I ended up a winner because you made me who I am today. Let me remind you, you went to bed in your clothes for school the next day and rolled out of bed in 10 minutes from leaving and had just enough time to pack a ham sandwich and coke for the road. :) I forget the chicks name in our summer math class but holy cow, did we get many laughs out of her and "it's prime". hahaha.

 

While in college, we sang after we drank too much and I recall as we sang (and crank called of course) you used the hood of the stove as a drum and we laughed every weekend when the neighbors complained of the noise. I am sure you blamed me. Oh, and the weekly trip to Smitty's in your Jeep - you insisted on driving the parking lot FOREVER - EVERY SATURDAY - until a close spot was open and I would gripe and sometimes just get out of the Jeep in a huff. No matter what, we left together and always after you bought your Goulash ingredients that I complained about (but ate). You then mastered the 'scanner' and if there was a phone in close proximity, well forget it. We put signs on cars "Honk if Your Horny" and stayed up as we watched them drive off and laughed so hard. We were in college when we did this. We even put signs on cars at our high school reunion -it's true and we laughed. Don't ever forget backwards skating in our living room to REO Speed Wagon and eating onion dip!

 

Somehow I became "Peppermint Patty" and you became "Chuck". Then, I became Frieda and your favorite "Ed Harley". Don't forget Mary and the 2 am biscuits and gravy! "Not to Worry"

 

Thank you for wearing that awful peach dress at my wedding and playing the violin. I know it was awful and I have the pictures to prove it - eyebrow raising and all!

 

I remember your crush on the high school quarter back and the crank calls we did to him - and the laughs we got when we found him on Face Book a few years ago. Speaking of Facebook, I have read the last few years of your posts and am amazed at how many friends you have. You always wished everyone "Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and even Happy Valentines". I will miss your calls of "Ed Harley, call me, I have dirt". My children are too young to understand, but you left a piece of you with them without even realizing it : you bought them their Irish Linen baptismal dress and now they have a story and memory of you.

I miss your smile, your friendship and your stories. You my friend, were given the gift not only to gab, but a gift of smarts - you did everything to the best and were the best at it. We planned on being old together, sipping drinks, crank calling and laughing - well my sweet friend, I still plan on that, just in another life. I hope you dance. I have many, many memories, these are just a few. I will remember you

Our deepest sympathy to you all. Just cannot believe that Becky has left this earth so soon....our hearts are broken for you.  
I met Becky, for the first time,  years ago when she and Sue came to Kansas for a visit. I will remember the 3 girls (Cindy,Sue,Becky) laughing hysterically..calling each other names...teasing each other...telling stories..and Doris mothering them.What fun they had! Hang on to each and every wonderful memory and hold each other close.

Becky from the first time we met we were buddies. We both have been through so much together. You were always a smile to many cloudy days. You had a way of always making me laugh even if we were both talking and crying. You are missed by so many. You touched more hearts than you even know. This all still seems like a dream to me. How can it be that we were texting on friday night and then you are taken from us? It just doesn't seem real.
I know you are now an angel to many of us here on earth. I know that you loved God and I know where you are. You are with other angels in our lives and no longer in pain or ill. You are healed. We love you and miss you. Our hearts will never be the same. Hug pa-pa for me and sing him our songs. I love you and miss you. Linda (az.)

I have been a friend to Becky's mom for many years She had a great love for her family.Becky and I shared a love for cats and exchanged e-mails about her cats and mine.

My family and the Kent"s spent a lot of time together, I was between Cindy and Becky in age. We were both military families and that alone was a bond. Weather it was going to our local amusement park( Ward's Play Land) or eating cookies at Mrs Kent's house there was always a good time to be had when our families were together.My heart breaks for Mr & Mrs Kent as well as your brother & sisters With loads of sympathy and love.
