Rachel Luciana Evans

Rachel was a mother to 3 children, Jeffrey 19, Savannah 13, and Scarlet 12. They were the joy of her existence. She earned an Associates Degree as a Registered Nurse. Rachel loved outlaw country. She was a die-hard Waylon Jennings fan. One of Rachel’s favorite places was Hawley Lake staying in the cabins, enjoying time with family. Later in life Rachel returned to her apostolic roots and began worshipping at MorningStar Apostolic Church with her brother Adam Quintana and sister Anne Green.

Rachel is predeceased by her grandfathers: James Wimberly “Poppa” and Arturo Quintana; and her cousin Eric Quintana.

Rachel is survived by her mother Jennifer Wimberly Guthrie, father Arthur Quintana, Jr. Her children are Jeffrey Evans, Savannah Short and Scarlet Short. Her siblings are Marion Caldwell, Andrea Quintana, Adam Quintana, and Anne Green.

A visitation for Rachel will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM followed by funeral service at 12:00 PM at MorningStar Apostolic Church, 3263 E Guadalupe Rd, Gilbert, Arizona 85234. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Mesa City Cemetery, 1212 N Center St., Mesa, Arizona 85201.
