Gordon Arthur Price, age 75, of Mesa, Arizona born to Arthur Charles and Kathryn Nadine (Burk) Price on December 20, 1947, went on to be with our heavenly father on February 24, 2023. Gordon studied at the Ohio State University and Bedford High School. He had a successful and rewarding career in investments and securities as the Chief Financial at McDonald & Co. Securities, NatCity Investments, the Chief Financial Officer of USA Operations at Walton International Group, and he still enjoyed working into his retirement with his start-up, Click IPO Securities LLC. In his spare time, he also authored a book entitled, Testing the Waters, detailing his many seafaring adventures with his dear friend Harold on his beloved sailboat, Moveable Feast.
Gordon will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Brown) Price and loving children Ian (Kelly), Kim (Gerald Johnson), Megan, and Kevin (Chigusa), his grandchildren Lauren, Erica, Brynn, and Mason Lantz, his stepchildren Jennifer Renschler and Jason (Alyssa Smith) Brown, his step-grandchildren Maverick, Mackenna, Braxton, Bennett, and Ayla, his brothers Richard (Amy) and Alan (Gail), and his nieces Katie, Carol and Emily, nephews Shawn, Ricky, and Scott, and his extended family along with many friends.
Gordon was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He never met a stranger and loved regaling his many adventures at local pubs around the world. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland, and had a passion for Ohio and Cleveland sports, a well-made old-fashioned, and spending time with his family. He was known for his work ethic, quick wit, intelligence, and incredible sense of humor.
In his own words, “The enjoyment of life is in living, not second-guessing oneself, but in moving forward, savoring each new day, and discovering the treasures that lie before you, if only you look beyond the obvious. I have no regrets over the hand I have chosen to play.” Gordon A. Price, Testing the Waters.
