Gary Norman Pearson

Gary Norman Pearson, age 83, of Mesa, Arizona was called home to be with our Lord in heaven on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Gary was born on November 18, 1940, in Los Angeles, CA. His family lived in Kansas, Oklahoma and North Dakota. He was active in sports and music which was his love.

In 1995 he moved to Mesa, AZ where he met and married Gail on November 9, 2003. They had a beautiful marriage and felt God brought them together. His doctor referred to them as "Beauty and the Beast". Guess who the beast was? As a spiritual person he loved Jesus and shared his faith with many people. He always started his week by attending Church and made Broadway Christian Church their home church. He loved spending time with friends and family, playing and writing music, playing Hand and Foot, Aggravation and his hobby was making name and sign boards.

He is survived by his wife, Gail, sons Rick, Steve (Carmen), daughters Joy (Denis) Friedt, Janet (Casey) Comeau, stepdaughters Carol (Steve) Loehnis, Kathy (John) Blodgett, 12 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 7 step great grandchildren. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a brother.

A special thank you to Hospice of the Valley, friends and family that were by his side during the final days and weeks.

A visitation for Gary will be held Monday, November 18, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Broadway Christian Church, 7335 Broadway Rd, Mesa, AZ 85208 with a celebration of life to follow at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will proceed the celebration of life held by at the Church.
