peacefully, while hospitalized, on December 19, 2021. He was born on March 2, 1943 to Betty
Matthew Good and Robert Edward Good, who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Audrey Morgan Good of Mesa, son Robert, his
wife Christie and two grandchildren, Katelyn Abigail and Carter Ashton Good of Hermosa
Beach, California. Also surviving are his brother, Robert Morrison Good and his wife Carol
Monich Good and nieces, Jennifer Good Philip (Jeffrey), Jessica Good Wolters (Will). Grand
nieces and nephew, Emma and Amelia Philip and Elizabeth and Will Wolters.
He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. His caring, respectful nature was an
example to many who knew him. Prior to injuries, he was an avid runner, later enjoyed walking
with his wife, was a Pittsburgh and Phoenix sports enthusiast, loved of all things “cars”, did
ancestry research, and enjoyed playing pool with his friends.
Gary graduated from Waynesburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree and with a
masters’ degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He taught mathematics at the Norwin
School District and also was chairman of the math department. He loved teaching and during
his 35 years as a teacher had many accomplishments including sponsoring the Norwin
Mathletes and as a consultant/accuracy editor for McGraw Hill.
Mariposa Garden Memorial Park and Funeral Care will carry out Gary’s wishes to be cremated,
celebrating his life privately with his family.
