Everett L. Allen of Apache Junction, AZ passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015. He was born March 16, 1935 in Osceola, AR to Emmett and Leona [Hunter] Allen. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Everett was an electrician by trade but would also work as a plumber when the job called for it. He was a very hard working man and even after retiring would enjoy tinkering with something, especially the art of lapidary, which is creating handmade jewelry from different gems and stones. Everett is survived by his loving wife of 57 ½ years, who he was married to on January 11, 1958 in Illinois; his sons Ronald Allen, Roger (Carol) Allen, Rocky Allen and Roy Allen; his brother Earnest (Mary Jane) Allen; sister Geneva Andrews as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 23, 2015 with a funeral service on Thursday, September 24th at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 East Broadway Rd in Mesa.
